Bitcoin Set for a Surge? Michael Saylor Sends Bullish Signal Again
Billionaire Michael Saylor is back in the spotlight. On Sunday, the MicroStrategy co-founder shared another Bitcoin chart, hinting that another big BTC buy could be on the way. If confirmed, this would be the fourth straight week of Bitcoin purchases from the firm.
Just last week, MicroStrategy added 15,355 BTC — bringing its total to 555,450 BTC, now worth over $52 billion. With Bitcoin trading around $94,000, the company is sitting on $14.19 billion in unrealized gains.
Despite missing earnings this quarter, Saylor’s team is doubling down. MicroStrategy plans to raise $21 billion more to expand its BTC holdings, even suggesting they might acquire other companies to convert their cash into Bitcoin.
Is a Bitcoin Breakout Coming?
Bitcoin is currently stuck in a tight range, trading just below its 50-day EMA. Key resistance sits at $94,750, with stronger hurdles at $95,755 and $96,715. On the downside, support lies at $93,500.
While momentum has cooled, the market is watching for a breakout. If BTC breaks above the wedge it’s forming, it could quickly move higher.
Until then, caution is key — tight stop-losses and small positions are recommended.
