Donald Trump Says He’s Not Making Money from TRUMP Token Despite 20% Surge
The TRUMP memecoin has jumped 20% this month, hitting a high of $44.19. But Donald Trump claims he hasn’t made any money from it.
So why the buzz?
Blockchain company Chainalysis found that certain wallets made $900,000 in just 48 hours. These wallets are controlled by CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC—two companies linked to Trump’s NFT projects. Together, they hold 80% of all $TRUMP tokens.
Trump’s take?
“I’m not profiting from anything,” he told NBC News. “If I own stock and it goes up, I guess that’s profit—but I’m not involved.”
Still, Trump’s name keeps showing up in crypto.
The White House recently invited the top 220 TRUMP token holders to a private dinner. Meanwhile, Eric Trump is scheduled to speak at the Consensus 2025 crypto event in Toronto.
So what’s going on?
Is this just political buzz—or is it part of a bigger crypto strategy?
