Mr. Trump denies profiting from the presidency and crypto
In an interview on May 4th on NBC News, Mr. Trump dismissed allegations of personal gain from his presidency as well as from crypto-related activities:

Mr. Trump also reiterated his support for crypto:
- The U.S. needs to lead in the crypto space, otherwise China will take advantage of the opportunity. This is a new trend, popular and extremely hot.
- Crypto has shown outstanding resilience during the market downturn.
- The increasing acceptance of crypto is the main reason he has faith in this sector.
- Criticized the Biden administration for previously having a repressive stance on crypto, but then shifting to a softer approach for political reasons.
