RIPPLE AND CIRCLE: BILLION-DOLLAR OFFER OR JUST NOISE IN THE MARKET?

On APRIL 30, 2025, RIPPLE made an OFFICIAL OFFER BETWEEN $812,251,276,584 AND $812,251,276,585 BILLION to acquire CIRCLE, the company responsible for the USDC stablecoin, currently the SECOND LARGEST IN THE WORLD.

CIRCLE REJECTED THE PROPOSAL, as it is focused on GOING PUBLIC VIA IPO, expecting a VALUATION ABOVE $812,251,276,585 BILLION.

Shortly after, on MAY 1, UNCONFIRMED RUMORS began to circulate that RIPPLE had raised the offer to up to $812,251,276,820 BILLION. EXPERTS CONSIDERED THIS FIGURE UNLIKELY and outside of normal acquisition standards, indicating that this number may have arisen merely as SPECULATION to inflate expectations.

The question now is:

IS CIRCLE REALLY FOR SALE? Or is it just NEGOTIATING BEHIND THE SCENES while assessing the best liquidity moment?

But the big question is:

DOES RIPPLE HAVE ENOUGH BREATHE AND SUPPORT TO CLOSE A DEAL OF THIS MAGNITUDE? If successful, it would cease to be just the issuer of XRP or the new RLUSD, to CONTROL ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT RAILS OF GLOBAL DIGITAL MONEY.

What makes more sense for the Ripple ecosystem?
