#EUPrivacyCoinBan The European Union has decided to prohibit privacy coins such as Monero and Zcash, as well as anonymous cryptocurrency accounts, until July 2027. This measure is part of a broader set of anti-money laundering regulations (AMLR) aimed at increasing transparency in cryptocurrency transactions and combating illegal activities. The new rules will require cryptocurrency service providers to conduct identity checks for transfers above 1,000 euros.
