Friends who often participate in airdrops with wallet #空投防骗手册 will definitely face multiple wallet management issues.

In March of this year, while interacting with the Monad ecosystem, I accidentally fell victim to a phishing website that leaked my mnemonic phrase. Due to my previous reluctance to manage asset isolation, I lost 0.012 BTC and 0.07 ETH, which was worth over 1000 USD at that time.

This painful lesson made me pay more attention to wallet management, and today I would like to share my wallet management methods with everyone. (Since my asset scale has not yet reached the level that requires a cold wallet, I will not mention cold wallets here.)

Based on the importance of the wallet, asset scale, and usage scope, I have divided wallets into three levels:

1. Airdrop Task Wallet

Importance: Low

Function: Participate in airdrop tasks, use and discard as needed

Funds: Small amount, generally less than 50 USD (for example, many Web airdrop tasks require at least 0.01 ETH)

Mnemonic Phrase: Managed casually, copied and pasted, sent over the internet

Usage: Imported into wallet app, imported into web wallet plugin, linked to authorize dApp applications

2. General Wallet

Importance: Medium

Function: Manage daily cash flow, high usage frequency

Funds: Commonly used liquid funds, such as funds for lending or new investments

Mnemonic Phrase: Written down on paper after generation, never appeared online

Usage: Located in the generated wallet app, not to be used for web wallet plugins, not to participate in any airdrop tasks. Only linked to authorize a small number of trusted dApp applications

3. Personal Asset Wallet

Importance: High

Function: Manage long-term assets, such as my regular investment in BTC, low usage frequency

Funds: Main personal assets, like my future small goals 😎

Mnemonic Phrase: Memorized upon generation (can also be written down and kept safe), never appeared online

Usage: Located in the generated wallet app, not to be used for any dApp links and authorizations, only for transfers (in most cases, transfers to my own general wallet)

By isolating assets according to the above three levels of wallets, I can minimize losses in case of an unfortunate situation.
