It's all easier if you treat it like a game.
When you play, you stop being afraid to experiment. You try things to see what happens. You take risks without a paralysing fear of failure. And most importantly, you don't burn out as quickly. Because play isn't about pressure. It's about curiosity, creativity and ease.
Start thinking of your startup as a game, not a life-or-death mission. Games invite exploration. Games let you start over. Games reward you for trying something new, even if it fails. When you're playing, you don't cling desperately to bad ideas just because you've invested time. You move on - it's part of the game.
And when you're playing, you don't exhaust yourself in the same way. Even when your mental energy is low and the world is throwing fireballs at you, your brain keeps on ticking. Because play fuels movement.
Play removes fear. In real life, you wouldn't dare run into a room full of zombies with a chainsaw. But in a game? Sure, why not. You wouldn't walk a tightrope five metres above the ground. But on the ground? Easy.
You don't get more creative results by forcing things, but by playing around. Because the mind is more open when it's not under pressure.
So the next time you feel stuck, remember: it's just a game. And you're here to play.
