TRON DAO X account compromised, scam contract posted

TRON DAO confirmed that its official X account was compromised at 9:25 AM PST on May 2 after a team member was targeted in a social engineering attack. During the breach, a fake contract address was posted, DMs were sent, and unfamiliar accounts were followed.

The attacker continued to offer posts from the account in exchange for payment even after being logged out.

TRON DAO emphasized: They will never post contract addresses or send unsolicited DMs. If you received a DM on May 2, delete it immediately.

TRON DAO is investigating and working with law enforcement.
