Elon Musk Still CEO of Tesla, Replacement Rumors Strongly Denied!
Surprising news circulated that Tesla was looking for a new CEO to replace Elon Musk. This rumor arose due to concerns that Elon was not focused on Tesla, especially after the company's stock plummeted significantly, as reported by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
However, this news was immediately denied by Tesla Chairman, Robyn Denholm. In her official statement on platform X, she emphasized:
> “This is completely untrue. The CEO of Tesla is Elon Musk, and the Board has great confidence in his ability to execute Tesla's growth plans moving forward.”
Tesla is indeed facing significant challenges. Since Elon Musk was appointed by US President Donald Trump as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E), it is said that his focus has been divided. Recent financial reports show that first-quarter profits have dropped by as much as 71%, raising concerns among investors.
In response to this, Elon Musk expressed his commitment to reducing his activities in government and refocusing on reviving Tesla from its downturn.
> Will Elon’s return to focus help Tesla recover? Or will external pressures continue to test his loyalty?
