Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg says in the next 12-18 months, most of the code for the company’s Llama project will be written by AI.

He says that AI is already as good as the “average very good person” in a team, but soon it will be better than the top coders.

Zuckerberg says that currently AI is very good at auto-completing a section of a code, but when he says AI is going to write most of the code for Meta soon, he means that it will be able to run tests, find bugs, and write high-quality code independently.
