According to PANews, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has released its market statistics for April, revealing a substantial increase in trading activity. The average daily volume (ADV) of futures contracts on the platform reached 35.9 million, marking a 36% year-over-year growth. Notably, the cryptocurrency futures segment experienced a remarkable 129% increase in daily trading volume.

Among the highlights, the micro Bitcoin futures contracts saw a 115% rise in average daily volume, reaching 78,000 contracts. Similarly, micro Ethereum futures contracts experienced a 165% increase, with an average daily volume of 63,000 contracts. Additionally, Ethereum futures contracts recorded a significant 239% growth, achieving an average daily volume of 14,000 contracts.
