A vicious kidnapping and abuse case has emerged in Taiwan! Police have cracked a major blackmail case involving kidnapping, with former gang members suspected of colluding with others to abduct 5 drivers and teenagers from a fraud group, using brutal and appalling methods.
The main perpetrator, Lu, was once the president of the Bamboo Union's Earth Tiger Hall branch and has a criminal record for violent debt collection and other crimes. He was ostensibly running a company but was actually engaged in illegal activities. When he learned that a driver from a certain fraud group had embezzled stolen funds, he colluded with Zhang and 6 others, who had drug and firearm offenses, to kidnap 3 drivers and 2 teenagers in December 2024, imprisoning them in a factory to commit atrocities.
The victims were stripped naked, beaten with gun butts, iron rods, and electric batons, and were forced to watch pornographic films and engage in indecent acts with each other, ultimately being coerced into licking semen off the floor. The assailants also pressured the victims to sign promissory notes worth millions and extorted ransom from their families ranging from 500,000 to 3 million.
The case was exposed after the families of the victimized teenagers reported it to the police. Officers stormed the factory, rescuing 5 victims from a third-floor room and restroom, and seized 8 firearms of various lengths, along with sticks and other tools used in the crime, resulting in the arrest of 7 suspects.
After the prosecution concluded its investigation, Lu and Zhang were charged with extreme brutality, causing significant physical and psychological harm to the victims, with life imprisonment being sought; co-conspirators face 15 to 20 years in prison. Lu also attempted to shift blame and bribe others to take the fall, leading to the victims initially being afraid to report the crime. Currently, some of the main perpetrators have been ordered by the court to be detained and banned from meeting others. The nature of this case is extremely severe, causing strong societal concern, and judicial authorities will rigorously pursue criminal responsibility for those involved.
