The Binance Web3 Wallet is a secure, self-custody wallet built right into the Binance app. It lets users manage digital assets across multiple blockchains—such as Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Bitcoin, and Solana—without needing separate wallets. Unlike custodial wallets, you control your keys and assets. Binance doesn’t store your private key, so you're fully responsible for keeping access safe.
1. How to Create and Set Up Your Binance Web3 Wallet
Step-by-Step Setup:
Download or Update Binance App: Install the latest Binance app on Android or iOS and log in.
Access the Web3 Wallet: Tap "Wallets" > "Web3 Wallet" from the menu. If missing, use the search bar.
Create Wallet: Tap “Create Wallet”, set a strong password, and follow the setup.
Backup Using MPC: Your private key is split using Multi-Party Computation (MPC)—no seed phrase needed.
Set Recovery Password: This encrypts your cloud key share. Losing this means losing wallet access.
Verify Backup: Scan the QR code and enter your recovery password. Once marked “Secured,” your wallet is backed up.
Note: This wallet can’t import seed phrases or be used on multiple devices. Backup is critical!
2. Adding Blockchains and Tokens
Enable Multi-Chain Networks:
Go to Wallets > Web3 > More > Networks
Enable networks like Solana, Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Layer 2s such as Blast
Add Custom Tokens:Default tokens appear automatically.
To add others, tap “Add Token”, search by name or paste the contract address using Custom Token.
Tip: if a token isn’t visible after receiving it, manually add it by using its contract address.
3. Send, Receive & Manage Assets Across Chains
Transfers Between Binance and Web3 Wallet:
Receiving: Tap Receive > From Binance, select token/network, and use the shown address to withdraw.
Sending: Tap Send > Binance Deposit Address, choose token/amount, and the app autofills your Binance address.
Ensure you have enough native tokens (BNB, ETH, etc.) to cover gas fees.

External Transfers:
Send by entering the recipient’s address and amount.
Receive by sharing your wallet address.
Binance will warn you about suspicious addresses.
Cross-Chain Swaps and Bridges:Use Swap for token conversions across networks (e.g., BNB on BSC to USDT on Ethereum).
Use Bridge to move assets between chains—fees and liquidity are calculated automatically.
Warning: Always double-check the network and gas fees before confirming.
4. Security and Backup Best Practices
Key Safety Measures:
No seed Phrase: MPC eliminates seed phrase risk.
Transaction Password: Every transaction requires password confirmation.
Encrypted Cloud Backup: Your cloud-stored key share is encrypted with your recovery password.

Real Time Warnings: Alerts trigger when interacting with malicious addresses.
Emergency Export Option: Exporting your key disables the wallet—only use in emergencies.
5. Accessing DeFi and DApps with Web3 Wallet
In-App DApp Browser:
Access top DeFi protocols via the “DApps” or “Discover” tab.
Use platforms like Uniswap, PancakeSwap, Aave, GMX, and NFT marketplaces directly.
WalletConnect Integration:
For third-party DApps, tap Scan in the Web3 Wallet and scan the site’s QR code.
Securely connect with external web platforms through WalletConnect.
Binance continuously expands support for top DeFi and NFT platforms.
