Regarding the accumulation of alpha points personally, one should not try to buy too much because the multiplier only counts as 1 point.
For example, 512=9, 1024=10, and 2048=11, so you have to buy double the price each time to earn an additional point; the excess does not count towards points.
Maintaining a daily purchase of 128-256u not only saves on swap costs and daily profit/loss fees but also maintains the number of alpha points at 105-120 points over 15 days; exceeding that number is not for the majority of investors.
