Ripple wanted to buy Circle, and Circle said no

Ripple reportedly offered $4–5 billion to acquire Circle, a key competitor in the stablecoin space, but Circle rejected the bid, believing it undervalued the company. This comes as Circle prepares for a U.S. IPO, while Ripple, which has no plans to go public, is actively pursuing acquisitions, recently buying prime brokerage firm Hidden Road for $1.25 billion, which was the largest crypto deal in history!!
