Binance updates the Alpha Points calculation mechanism
To encourage trading of Alpha tokens, Binance will DOUBLE the volume of Alpha for the following transactions:
- Buy Alpha tokens on the BSC network.
- Buy with limit orders (on any network).
⏰Applicable time: starting from 01/05/2025 until further notice
Illustrative examples for easy understanding:
- Market buy order $100 Alpha (non-BSC) → count volume $100
- Market buy order $110 Alpha (BSC) → count 110 x 2 = 220
- Limit buy order $120 Alpha (non-BSC) → count 120 x 2 = 240
- Limit buy order $130 Alpha (BSC) → count 130 x 2 = 260 (not cumulative to x4)
→ Total Alpha Volume: $820, corresponding to 9 Alpha Points
