RTFKT Studios, a non-fungible token firm, faced issues with Cloudflare when over 19,800 CloneX digital avatars were blacked out for violating terms of service. Despite claims of missed payments, RTFKT's head of tech attributed the problem to changes in their Cloudflare setup. Speculation arose that RTFKT may have chosen an inadequate Cloudflare plan for high-traffic image serving. Most of the NFTs have since reappeared after Cloudflare resolved the issue. The incident led to outrage from CloneX holders, prompting RTFKT to seek a decentralized solution. RTFKT announced a move to the decentralized data storage platform Arweave. The firm, known for virtual sneakers and acquired by Nike, has faced challenges since its closure in January. Other NFT marketplaces, like DraftKings and GameStop, have also closed due to declining trading volumes. Despite these challenges, the crypto industry continues to evolve with new opportunities and innovations.👇👇
