They say “Crypto is the future.”

I’ve spent hours going through screenshots of people who once believed they’d make it big on Binance. I saw stories of fathers losing their kids' education funds. Students who put every rupee of their scholarship into memecoins. Husbands hiding losses from their wives. People laughing at charts in the morning… and crying in silence at night.
One guy lost his entire $78,000 savings.
He said, “I thought I was buying freedom. Now I can't even afford rent.”
Another posted, “I took a loan to buy the dip. I’m drowning in debt. My wife left. I have nothing.”
And one line still haunts me:
“This was my last message. If I don’t wake up tomorrow, know that I tried.”
He never posted again.
We glamorize profits but ignore the pain.
Not everyone becomes a millionaire.
Some lose everything.
Some never recover.
Crypto isn’t evil. But blind hope is.
Don’t invest what you can’t afford to lose.
Don’t bet your peace, your family, your life — on green candles.
