(not so) hot take: the biggest apps will have their own stablecoin

imagine building an app for non crypto natives. hereās what their real first experience often looks like: > user lands on your app > āconnect walletā (they donāt have one) > ok, they go download MetaMask or Rabby (or maybe you offer social login youhouu) > install extension or mobile app > write down 12 words (panic so screenshot it lol) > come back to your app, connect wallet > now they need crypto to do anything > oh wait, they need to bridge to your chain > find an exchange, buy crypto > send it to the wallet (wrong network? fee too high? stuck in pending?) > come back again > need to approve a token before using it > now they can finally try your app maybe, if they didnāt quit already if your app is for regular people, none of these steps make sense social login, gasless flows, in-app wallet, fiat onramps, etc => these arenāt nice to haves anymore, theyāre table stakes for anyone trying to go beyond CT
