#ALPACA – delisting from #Binance . What should holders do?
1. What is happening
Binance has officially announced the delisting of the ALPACA token. Trading for all spot pairs with ALPACA will cease on May 2, 2025, at 03:00 UTC. After that:
May 3 — ALPACA deposits will no longer be credited;
July 4 — end of token withdrawal support;
July 5 — possible automatic conversion of remaining balances to stablecoins (not guaranteed).
2. Market reaction
Immediately after the news, the price of ALPACA unexpectedly rose by 200%, which may be an attempt to rapidly withdraw liquidity. He Yi (co-founder of Binance) noted that market makers often use such situations to “pull” money from the last holders before a sharp dump.
3. What to do
If you have ALPACA tokens left:
It is advisable to sell before May 2, while trading is still available;
Do not store on Binance after July 4 — you may lose access to your funds;
Do not succumb to the pump — the risk of manipulation and dumping is particularly high right now.
4. Conclusion
The Alpaca Finance project is still functioning on #BNB Chain, but the delisting from Binance is a significant blow to liquidity. Short-term speculation is possible, but long-term investment attractiveness is in serious question.
