This account currently has 168,000 USDT, aiming to double or triple it before the end of May, only trading mainstream coins!!!
Yesterday, I made a long and short position on $BTC consecutively, with two or three waves all doubling before exiting. Many fans say I have a particularly accurate sense of direction and have suggested I lead events. Yesterday, I also took a look at what the event and joy are all about.
To be honest, event contracts are actually a new way prepared for significant events that can impact the crypto circle, the most typical being (Federal Reserve decisions, non-farm payroll data) short-term contracts launched.
Compared to ordinary USDT contracts, there are certain differences:
1. Time lock: Event contracts must be entered before the event occurs (for example, 24 hours before a meeting) and are forcibly settled after the event, unlike USDT contracts which can be held long-term.
2. Only look at results: The settlement price only depends on the event outcome (for example, whether there is an interest rate cut), and price fluctuations during the process do not affect profits and losses, which is equivalent to directly "betting on the answer".
3. Leverage doubles: Offers up to 200 times leverage (ordinary USDT usually offers 125 times), but positions must be closed before the event occurs.
Advantages compared to ordinary contracts:
Simple and straightforward, suitable for experienced traders who can predict event outcomes.
Positions last no more than two days, saving on capital rate losses.
Can potentially reverse during black swan events (for example, betting on a "crash" outcome in advance).
Disadvantages compared to ordinary contracts:
Large spread when liquidity is poor.
Easily harvested by insider trading parties.
If the event outcome meets expectations but the market does not fluctuate, the contract goes directly to zero (while USDT can still profit from fluctuations).
One-sentence strategy: Only trade high-volume popular events (like Federal Reserve meetings), set a ±15% stop loss immediately after opening a position, and don’t be greedy.
