$XRP

The largest global derivatives exchange, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has announced its intention to launch futures on $XRP, the cryptocurrency of the Ripple project. The product will be launched on May 19, although it still lacks approval from the regulator. This is a step forward for Ripple for at least two reasons: the group is coming out of a long legal dispute with the SEC, which wanted to declare its cryptocurrency $XRP as an unregistered security; secondly, futures are a good sign of the approach towards the arrival of Ripple ETFs in the USA.
