While this uptrend might appear sudden to some, a closer look at key technical indicators shows that this rally has followed a very familiar and historically reliable pattern since the November 2022 market bottom.
Key Technical Drivers Behind the Rally:
1W MA50 Rebound:
The first week of April saw a clean bounce off the 1-week 50-day Moving Average — the same support level that previously sparked strong rallies in Q4 2023 and Q4 2024. This MA50 trendline (blue) has consistently acted as the foundation for each major leg up in this bull cycle.
RSI Breakout Confirmation:
Last week, the 1W RSI crossed above its Moving Average — a move that has historically signaled the beginning of a sustained bullish phase. Each time this has happened, it marked the start of multi-week upside momentum.
Bollinger Bands Still Ranged:
With the 1W Bollinger Bands still relatively tight, the top band is now positioned to expand rapidly — just as we observed in October 2023 and October 2024. This suggests acceleration is likely rather than exhaustion.
How Long Could This Rally Last?
Past legs in this cycle have lasted up to 14 weeks, and if history repeats, we could see continued upside until at least mid-July 2025. Based on the February–March consolidation, a +92% price increase remains within reach, targeting the Higher Highs trendline near $140,000.
