🪙 Ethereum sets launch date for Fusaka upgrade

Co-CEO of Ethereum Tomasz K. Stańczak revealed that the Fusaka hard fork is expected to be implemented in Q3 or Q4 of 2025, although the specific timing has not yet been finalized.

Notably, the controversial EVM Object Format (EOF) improvement proposal has been removed from Fusaka to ensure the upgrade's schedule, due to technical complexity.

Fusaka is the next major upgrade following Pectra, focusing on enhancing Layer 2 scalability and optimizing EVM. The Devnet for Fusaka will launch as soon as Pectra is completed in mid-2025.
