Currently, there are not many articles on the market that can deeply analyze the Alpha point system. Of course, my views may not be correct, and new rules from the official side may come out later, so this article is only for reference. If you find it enlightening after reading, please give it a like.

First of all, the operation of the Alpha point system is truly impressive. There is trading volume, there is popularity, projects are continuously connected, and then users are given benefits, incentivizing them to continue competing for points and boosting trading volume. The entire system has become a positive feedback loop. Binance's move is indeed a strategic masterstroke for other exchanges.
Recently, many brothers have found themselves holding positions and scoring points, but each time they are just outside the threshold, missing it by a little. Let me tell you the deeper reason: the Alpha point system is not PVE, but a PVP competition. Points are equivalent to rank scores, and the threshold score line is actually based on how many of the top ranks are taken.
The entire point reward system can be seen as a marathon-style competition. At each checkpoint along the route, rewards are given, but only the top 30,000 will qualify for the prizes. If you are the 40,000th, it means you have already fallen behind. You need to speed up and double your efforts to score points and get into the top 30,000, then you can continue to receive rewards while maintaining a steady pace.
So you need to pay attention to what position you are in. If you are already falling behind and continue to run at a constant speed, thinking that 8 points a day for 15 days will total 120 points, then the subsequent rewards might not catch up. Because the main group of the top 30,000 is also running at a constant speed of 8 points a day. If you can't squeeze into the top 30,000, you will remain outside the reward threshold. Some bloggers introduce ultra-cost-effective scoring strategies, saying that 8 points a day for 15 days will surely be enough, right? But in reality, this logic is flawed; it only focuses on points while the threshold rises and the activity rewards only consider rankings.
The day before yesterday, one of my accounts had 49 points, and the next day, the event estimated 65 points. I directly scored 16 points, completing over 8000 trading transactions because catching up does require a price to pay. However, my method of reducing losses is around 5U, which is acceptable; it just takes some effort and time. (The specific method is in the pinned post in the chat room, brothers who need it can join to check.) When I reached 65 points, I estimated that the new airdrop threshold would be 75 points the next day. To be safe, I still scored 15 points, reaching a round number of 80 points. Today, the score line was released: TGE at 75 points, airdrop at 80 points. I managed to get both.
Currently, if you are not in the main group, the average level of the group is an increase of 8 to 9 points per day. Generally, there are not many activities during holidays, making it a good opportunity for the lagging brothers to catch up. After the holiday, the threshold for airdrop new listings will inevitably be in the three-digit range. Brothers who haven't passed need to work harder; you can only rest after putting in the effort—don't fall behind once, and then again and again.
According to the current mechanism, you also don't need to aim for the top 10,000, as there are costs to consider. Of course, if later on rewards are distributed in different tiers based on points, that would need to be reconsidered. In other words, once you join the main group, you can score points daily without overexerting yourself, as long as you don't miss any days.
After everyone has scored fully for 15 days, the outcome can be anticipated: trading volume will keep increasing. Of course, whether new rules will come out by then is unknown. In any case, first get the airdrops that can be obtained. Each period has its own system and strategy. Only by opening up your thinking and seeing through the essence of the rules can you establish corresponding strategies to remain undefeated.
