🕒 Is there a better time to trade cryptocurrencies?
I, like many of you perhaps, always thought that the fact that the crypto market operates 24 hours a day made any time good for trading.
However, by observing the market at different times, I learned that the reality is different: volumes and volatility change significantly throughout the day!
Based on analyses from major exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, etc., the data showed:
✅ Highest volume and liquidity:
From 10 AM to 2 PM (Brasília time), during the overlap of the European and United States markets.
This is when the crypto world is most active: better order execution, less slippage, and fairer spreads.
✅ Highest volatility:
The opening of the US market (around 10 AM) brings opportunities for those seeking quick movements.
✅ Lowest volatility and lowest volume:
During the Brazilian early morning (10 PM to 3 AM), the market slows down, with less liquidity — ideal for those seeking stability, but it can be risky for large operations.
⚠️ Attention:
Sunday night and Monday early morning usually have the worst volumes. If possible, avoid opening positions during these times!
📈 In summary:
• Want liquidity? Trade in the morning and early afternoon (Brasília).
• Want to take advantage of volatility? Keep an eye on the opening of the US market!
• Want stability? Early morning can be calmer (but be cautious with liquidity).
Knowing the market's rhythm can make all the difference in your results!
🔎 Sharing a personal experience:
I confess that I had not stopped to observe these patterns until recently.
From now on, I am much more attentive to these periods to better leverage my operations in the crypto market!
