US President Donald Trump is under threat of impeachment following a controversial program issued by his affiliated crypto token, Trump Meme Coin.
United States Senator Jon Ossoff alleged that the exclusive dinner invitation with the president for hundreds of the largest holders of the crypto asset was a form of selling access to the presidency. He called it a clear impeachable offense.

"When the sitting President of the United States sells access to direct payments to him, it is beyond debate," Ossoff said, as reported by Coindesk, Sunday (4/27).
The same thing was also voiced by United States Senator Adam Schiff and United States Senator Elizabeth Warren. Both asked for an investigation into the president's involvement in the program to find out whether the program violated federal ethics rules.
The Trump Meme Coin has already risen by more than 85%. However, the token is still far from its top price of 70 USD.
