PANews April 29, according to The Block, Lombard has reached a partnership with the Eigen Foundation to officially incorporate its liquid-staked Bitcoin token LBTC into the EigenLayer restaking system. This collaboration allows Bitcoin holders to earn base yields through the Babylon protocol while obtaining additional rewards in EigenLayer. Both parties will work together over the next six months to advance the security and penalty mechanism design for Bitcoin restaking.
