#XRPETFs - Tether reported earnings of USD $13 billion in 2024

The company capitalized more than USD $13 billion in revenue during 2024, continuing its efforts to establish USDT as the stablecoin with the highest market capitalization and adoption currently.

Tether published its latest quarterly balance for 2024 reporting annual earnings that exceeded USD $13 billion. It also revealed a notable increase in Treasury bond holdings. The company reaffirms its commitment to innovation and financial inclusion.

The issuer of the stablecoin USDT, Tether, recorded earnings that surpassed USD $13 billion throughout 2024.

This information came to light in the latest quarterly report for 2024 published by Tether today, where the company shared some figures corresponding to that period, as well as others related to the annual balance. The report was validated and reviewed by the accounting firm BDO, which certifies the validity of all the data reported by the company.

Earnings of more than USD $13 billion in 2024

For this last quarter, the net earnings capitalized by Tether exceeded USD $6 billion, which adds to the more than USD $7 billion capitalized in previous periods, giving a total annual that exceeds USD $13 billion.

“Based on the extraordinary performance of 2024, the fourth quarter marked several historical highs for the company, with annual net earnings surpassing $13 billion. The group’s equity exceeded $20 billion, reflecting the company's continued dominance and its commitment to strategic investments in emerging industries such as renewable energy, Bitcoin mining, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and education,” the report states.

Among other data, the company also increased its direct and indirect exposure to US Treasury bonds, which reached a historic high of USD $113 billion.
