China may surpass the USA and become the world leader in nuclear energy, - Bloomberg
China has approved the construction of 10 new reactors worth $27 billion. This is already the fourth consecutive year that the country has approved at least 10 projects.
Currently, 30 nuclear power plants are under construction in China, and by the end of the decade, it plans to become the world leader in nuclear generation.
According to forecasts, the installed capacity will reach 65 GW by 2025 and about 200 GW by 2040.
