Trump Claims Zelensky Willing to Surrender Crimea

Donald Trump expressed his belief that Volodymyr Zelensky is prepared to strike a peace deal with Russia, which could involve conceding Crimea.

“Oh, I think so,” Trump responded when asked by reporters on Sunday evening if he thought Zelensky would be willing to give up the territory Russia seized in 2014.

Before boarding Air Force One, the former president also reflected on his meeting with Zelensky at Pope Francis’s funeral, calling it “a lovely meeting” and “a beautiful meeting.”
