特朗普提议用关税收入替代个税，经济学家质疑可行性美国总统特朗普近日提出，其“解放日关税”计划的收入可能足以替代联邦所得税。他在周二接受福克斯新闻采访时表示：“如果关税收入足够庞大，我们可以效仿镀金时代（1870-1913年）的模式——当时关税是政府唯一的财政来源，美国正处于鼎盛时期。”本月，特朗普以“贸易不公”为由，对近90个国家加征“对等关税”，引发全球市场震荡。随后，他宣布为期90天的缓冲期，并将税率基准设定为10%，但中国等少数国家不在此列。在被问及关税能否取代所得税时，特朗普称赞该问题“独具洞见”，并自称“关税人”。他表示，新政有望在未来一年内创收超万亿美元，用于削减国债并替代联邦所得税。然而，经济学家对此表示强烈质疑。数据显示，过去70年间，关税收入仅占联邦岁入的2%，2024年这一比例更降至1.7%。荷兰国际集团的分析师指出，尽管对华广泛关税可能在长期内利好美国经济，但短期内将造成“重大经济损伤”。此外，若未来通过贸易协议降低关税，政府的减税空间将进一步受限。
