šµš°Pakistan Army Chief Responds to India After Pahalgam Attack
Following the tragic Pahalgam attack on April 22, 2025, which claimed the lives of 26 Indian tourists, India blamed Pakistan for supporting cross-border militancy and suspended the Indus Waters Treaty, reduced diplomatic ties, and hinted at military retaliation.
In response, Pakistanās Army Chief, General Asim Munir, strongly denied any involvement in the attack. He warned that any aggressive move from India would be met with a decisive and strong response. General Munir emphasized Pakistanās commitment to peace but assured that the Pakistan Armed Forces are fully prepared to protect the countryās sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The situation has caused serious concern among international observers as tensions rise between the two nuclear-armed neighbors. Both countries have also suspended trade routes and closed airspaces.
