Currently, the price of Ethereum (ETH) is trading above $1,720 and the simple moving average of the last 100 hours. There is also a bullish trend line forming with support at $1,780 on the ETH/USD hourly chart. On the upside, the price seems to face resistance near the $1,820 level. The next key resistance is near the $1,840 level.

The first major resistance is near the $1,880 level. If it successfully breaks through the $1,880 resistance, the price may head towards the $1,920 resistance. If there is a breakout above the $1,920 resistance, this may trigger further increases in the coming sessions. In that scenario, Ether could rise towards the $1,950 resistance zone or even $2,000 in the short term.
