PancakeSwap launches CAKE Tokenomics 3.0

PancakeSwap has officially implemented “Token Economics 3.0” starting April 23, 2025. Key changes include: retirement of veCAKE and voting, unlocking CAKE staking, discontinuation of farm boosting and revenue sharing, emission reduction (to 14,500 CAKE/day), and increased burn rate. 5.29 million permanently locked CAKE will be reflected in the burn dashboard. Users have 6 months to redeem CAKE/veCAKE, deadline: October 23, 2025.
