Michael Saylor Reveals Strategy’s $7.2 Billion Bitcoin Model Michael Saylor, CEO of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), recently shared insights into the company’s “Bitcoin-first” approach. Strategy currently holds 568,840 BTC worth approximately $58.9 billion, purchased at an average of $69,287 per BTC, while the current market price is around $103,476, giving the firm nearly 50% profit. Year-to-date, BTC holdings yielded 15.5%, equal to $7.2 billion in gains. In 2024 alone, the company acquired 140,538 BTC ($13.1 billion), and in the current quarter, added 21,530 BTC ($2.2 billion). More than just holding Bitcoin, Strategy actively puts its BTC to work via lending, structured finance, and yield strategies, turning Bitcoin into a productive asset.
