Sometimes I stop to take a look at the current crypto circle.
The hustle and bustle is still there, projects continue to emerge one after another, but I always feel that the once heart-racing "heat" is becoming less and less.
It’s like walking into a noisy yet desolate market; everyone is talking profits, discussing airdrops, and mentioning return rates, but no one talks about dreams, the future, or that heart that once beat for blockchain.
Indeed! This circle is too big, big enough that everyone only sees the "ten thousand things" but forgets the original "one".
Do you still remember that "one"?
It’s the one that was written as "decentralization" in the 2009 white paper, the one embedded in the genesis block that says "the banks will face a second rescue". The one that had no candlestick charts, no ROI, only an obsession with freedom, equality, and order.
Looking back now, we have long entered the stage of "three thousand things"—there's DeFi, RWA, AI, Memecoin; the hustle is indeed lively, but the path beneath our feet seems to be straying further and further away.
And I firmly believe that the true value of this world should not start from profit, but from the grounding of belief.
The original aspiration is not something to be spoken of, but to be lived out. When the tide recedes and the bull and bear cycles alternate, there will eventually be someone in the ruins who will rediscover that original spark.
