Elon Musk Unveils $20 Billion Hyperloop Tunnel Plan for Transatlantic Travel
Elon Musk's Boring Company has revealed a bold vision: a transatlantic Hyperloop tunnel connecting New York and London. The futuristic system would use vacuum-sealed tubes and magnetic levitation to reach speeds over 3,000 mph — slashing travel time between the two cities to under an hour, compared to the current eight-hour flight.
Musk estimates the cost at around $20 billion, a dramatic reduction from earlier projections that soared as high as $20 trillion.
While the concept is revolutionary, many experts remain doubtful, pointing to major technical, financial, and environmental hurdles that could stand in the way of making it a reality.
