#StaySAFU There are always risks of scams if you don't take precautions. Here’s how to protect yourself:
1. Always verify the URL
Make sure you are on binance.com.
Be careful of fake sites that imitate Binance (phishing). Use bookmarks to always enter the correct site.
2. Enable two-step verification (2FA)
Use Google Authenticator or Authy instead of SMS if possible. It is much safer.
3. Never share your password or 2FA codes
Neither Binance nor anyone legitimate will ask you for that info via Telegram, WhatsApp, email or social media.
4. Be cautious of “too good” offers
Promises to double your money, miraculous bots or “managers” asking you to send them your funds = guaranteed scam.
5. Don't trust fake screenshots or payment proofs
Many scammers use Photoshop or montages to gain your trust.
6. Use the “Anti-Phishing” feature on Binance
It allows you to set a unique keyword that will appear in every official email. This way you will know that the email is legitimate.
7. Avoid dubious groups on Telegram or Discord
There are thousands of scammers posing as support or “experts” from Binance.
8. If something sounds odd: ask
You can write to me before doing anything and I’ll help you check it.
