💥 Musk 'crashes' the White House, publicly mocked by Trump, have the two completely fallen out?
Recently, an astonishing scene unfolded at the White House: Musk suddenly appeared at a cabinet meeting, uninvited and unexpected. Trump coldly mocked on the spot: 'He can come because I still somewhat respect him.' The atmosphere became extremely awkward.
Originally, the two were bound by mutual interests. Musk was appointed head of the 'Government Efficiency Department' at the beginning of the year, boasting that he would help the government save $1 trillion. However, due to identity restrictions, he can only serve until the end of May. There have been rumors that Trump wanted to manipulate legal clauses to extend his tenure, but it now seems very unlikely.
The two have long had grievances, especially with the intense disagreements over tariff policies. Musk attempted to persuade but failed, and then retaliated by attacking Trump's think tank, angrily calling Navarro 'dumb as a brick', not even sparing the Vice President, leading to a scene that spiraled out of control.
This left the conservative camp in a very awkward position. Ackman, a Wall Street tycoon who once strongly supported him, has also started to shift, bluntly stating that Trump’s new policies may drag down the economy: 'We didn't vote for this.'
Moreover, the 'Government Efficiency Department' that Musk established has been reduced to its original form, with the initial goal of saving $2 trillion now down to only $150 billion. His engineering mindset does not translate well in the political arena, and he even had a major fallout with Secretary of State Rubio.
Worse still, his political influence is beginning to collapse. The judges he supported suffered a crushing defeat in Wisconsin, and many Republicans now prefer to distance themselves from him.
From former allies to now parting ways, the 'billionaire marriage' between Musk and Trump is heading towards collapse. And the awkward silence at that White House meeting may just be the prelude to their break.
