#SecureYourAssets #SecureYourAssets on Binance — security checklist:
1. Enable 2FA (two-factor authentication)
• Use Google Authenticator or Authy — not SMS (less secure).
• Set up backup codes in case of device loss.
2. Anti-phishing code
• Enable in your Binance account settings — this way you will always see your personal code in official emails from Binance.
3. Address Whitelist
• Enable this feature: withdrawals will only be possible to pre-approved addresses.
4. Email and phone notifications
• Always enabled — you will instantly know about changes and logins to your account.
5. Limit API access
• If using API — bind it to your IP address and disable withdrawals via API.
6. Do not store all assets on the exchange
• Binance is safe, but “not your keys — not your crypto”. For the long term, use cold wallets.
7. Device check
• Periodically check which devices are connected to your account. Remove unfamiliar ones.
8. Regularly update your password
• Complex, unique, not used anywhere else except Binance.
9. Be cautious with public networks
• Do not log into your account via open Wi-Fi networks. It’s better to use a VPN.
10. Beware of fakes and scams.
