since the end of November, the losses have wiped out all profits, putting me in a difficult position. If I trade small, I can't recover my capital, and if I lose everything, it will be a lifetime of suffering.

I just sat there thinking... reflecting on my account, reflecting on the investment process, especially in the field of Crypto.
🔹 The question I am now asking myself is, "Is investing in Crypto SPOT really safe and the right direction?"
"Is trading futures really bad?
Overall, my lifetime PNL from both Spot (SPOT) and Futures (contracts) is currently profitable in both. But gradually, moving forward, SPOT is really becoming quite difficult.
🔹 Including the year 2024 up to now, in April 2025, that makes it 16 months. My SPOT is currently at a loss, even though I profited a lot in the waves of early 2024 (February-March) and August-November 2024. The profits were relatively good, but they offset losses from December 2024 to April 2025, and now I am in a deficit of both profit and capital.
Overall, in 2024, I made a profit in Futures, a profit comparable to SPOT, but I had to short BTC twice at 50k and 85k. I lost about ~40% and 60% of my FT account.
🔹 Offsetting each other, Futures are profitable, but SPOT is at a loss. During that process, I invested profits from SPOT into futures to add capital, then withdrew profits from futures to hold more SPOT, and after summarizing, 16 months from 2024 until now, it is exactly break-even. Neither loss nor profit.
SPOT in previous years was really good; the capital I have now is also thanks to SPOT, followed by Futures. But now it is "not so good". I feel like it is too sour; Futures indeed is the threshold between "gambling" and "investing" is just a blink. Most of the time, people fail because of psychology.
I can still make profits from Futures, but the critical disadvantage is that I often have "overly high expectations" that I can't stand. As a result, I throw money down the drain.
This is probably an issue many people are facing. Because I myself am also very skeptical now. Is it because I am too foolish or is the market too harsh?
