$ETH Risk management is always the top priority in trading, and the stop-loss strategy (#StopLossStrategies) is the "shield" that helps me protect my account from unexpected market fluctuations.
Personally, I often combine 2 popular stop-loss methods:
Fixed Stop-Loss: I set the stop-loss level based on significant support/resistance zones or the maximum percentage loss I can accept (usually 3-5% of capital). This method helps me control the loss from the moment I enter the trade.
Trailing Stop-Loss: When the price is moving in the right direction, I gradually move the stop-loss level higher to lock in profits and minimize risk when the market turns.
A practical example is when I traded BTC/USDT during the recent strong volatility, the trailing stop-loss helped me secure good profits when the price reached a short-term peak before sharply reversing.
