First, let's give a thumbs up for this operation. I first cut my long positions and sold all my ETH and BNB spot holdings, then opened a short position.
Otherwise, I would have at least lost a third of my positions tonight, and my contracts would likely have been liquidated. Opening a short now should have compensated for most of the previous losses.
I don't know how the market will move tomorrow, but at least I've preserved my position now.
