Binance Charity Distributes $1.5 Million Airdrop for Earthquake Victims in Myanmar and Thailand
In response to the devastating earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand, Binance Charity, along with former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ), will distribute up to $1.5 million in BNB to Binance users living in the affected areas.
Users who have completed KYC or POA before March 31, 2025, will receive BNB vouchers in the Reward Hub, according to the data submitted.
BNB Distribution:
For Myanmar:
$5 in BNB for all KYC-verified users who are inactive.
$50 in BNB for users who have completed KYC and POA in the most affected areas.
For Thailand (only “Binance TH by Gulf Binance” users):
$5 in BNB for all “Gulf Binance users” who have completed KYC with a residential address.
$10 in BNB for “Gulf Binance users” who have completed KYC with a residential address in the most affected areas.
Funds are expected to be received by eligible users no later than April 14, 2025.
CZ and Binance hope this assistance alleviates the burden on disaster victims.
