Buy coins that others are not optimistic about but have value, like the current ETH.

Why is Bitcoin rising alone? It's because retail investors want to make quick money. Everyone is looking for a hundredfold return and doesn’t want to enjoy Bitcoin's steady growth. The drop in ETH and being drained by SOL is just one aspect; the main reason is that everyone is too optimistic about it and wants to wait for it to catch up. With so many retail bullish positions, they will definitely get eaten.

With everyone not optimistic about ETH's drop, it might fall one or two more times, then the retail mindset will align with bullish expectations.

In the first wave, when it pumps to 2600, retail investors will reduce their positions, then after a big correction, they will feel relieved, realizing that ETH really can't hold up.

In the second wave, when it rises to 4000, there will be a big correction, and retail investors will immediately clear their positions. Retail investors are not foolish; clearing positions means they won't chase the rise, making it easier to pump the price at this time.

In the third wave, when it reaches 6000, the main players will draw lines to make it look like this is the top, leading many to consider opening low-leverage short positions, thinking how could the worthless ETH blow up on me.

In the fourth wave, at 8000, ETH is amazing, chase it; worst case, if it drops, I will add to my position and hold through the bull market!

In the fifth wave, it will crash to 8000, then turn around and liquidate the shorts, pushing the price up, ending the bull market, and it will depend on how many shorts are out there.

Then as it falls, retail investors will keep buying, thinking that even if they get stuck, it will definitely rise back. Having made money in the bull market, they will believe they are geniuses and trust their judgment.

No matter how it is praised or belittled, retail investors will always just look at the charts. If ETH drops two more times, no matter how it is praised, no one will believe in ETH and will find various reasons to call it worthless, saying it is being drained and abandoned, etc. When it truly rises, they will understand why ETFs place BTC and ETH in the same category. BTC is correlated with US stocks; when US stocks rebound, funds will definitely flow into BTC and ETH. However, US stocks still need that last bubble to burst, and I still don’t believe it will happen this year.

Moreover, considering the greed level of the main players, is it more profitable to short or to go long? Long-term trends depend on the fundamentals, while mid-term trends depend on the opponent's positions.
