According to South Korea's Munhwa Ilbo, out of 2,047 Korean government officials who submitted asset declarations, 411 (20.1%) reported holding virtual assets, with a total value of 14.4 billion KRW (~ $9.83m). Among them, Seoul City Councilor Kim Hye-young topped the list with a declared amount of 1.7 billion KRW (~$1.16m), holding 16 types of virtual assets, including BTC, ETH, DOGE, and XRP.
