Hyperliquid 50x Leverage Giant Whale Uses TWAP Strategy to Close Part of BTC Short Positions
According to Mars Finance and Yujin Analysis, Hyperliquid's 50x leverage giant whale has begun to realize profits by closing BTC short positions through the TWAP strategy. Data shows that the trader has closed 108 BTC short positions in the last hour and a half. Currently, the whale still holds up to 5,500 BTC in short positions, with a total value of approximately 455 million USD. The TWAP (Time Weighted Average Price) strategy is a professional trading method that breaks large trade orders into multiple smaller orders and executes them at fixed time intervals. This strategy effectively reduces the impact of large orders on the market, making the average transaction price closer to the actual market price, and is commonly used by institutions and large traders.
