Summary of the March 7, 2025 Summit: I believe all cryptocurrencies will decline against the rise of Bitcoin in the coming days 🤔 Do you share my opinion?
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that starting today, the United States will not sell any of its Bitcoin, confirming that the federal government holds 200,000 Bitcoin.
Trump noted during the first cryptocurrency summit at the White House that the U.S. government "acted recklessly" and sold tens of thousands of Bitcoin, most of which were sold during the Biden administration, which did not wait for the currency price to reach high levels.
The U.S. President added, "Assets from cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin will be kept in a new digital inventory."
The decision to create a strategic reserve of Bitcoin is a calculated step that embraces the influence of cryptocurrencies in the future without giving the world the impression that the United States has lost confidence in its own currency, according to a report by the American Forbes network.
For his part, David Sacks, dubbed the "Caesar of Cryptocurrencies," stated during remarks to reporters that the goal of the summit is to hear from cryptocurrency leaders, marking the first of its kind to initiate a direct dialogue with the cryptocurrency sector in the United States and an attempt to understand its priorities.
