Brazil increases partnership with the Cardano Foundation to expand blockchain in the public sector

The largest public state information technology company in Brazil sought a project linked to the cryptocurrency ADA, although the agreement only mentions educational initiatives.

Brazil confirmed the growth of the partnership with the Cardano Foundation, this time through Serpro. Previously, Petrobras had already formed a partnership with the same foundation, showing that public state companies are showing interest in blockchain technology.

Serpro, the Federal Data Processing Service, is one of the largest and most traditional technology companies in Brazil, linked to the federal government.

The company develops the technology for services that are part of the daily lives of Brazilians, such as CPF, Gov.br, Income Tax, Digital Traffic Wallet (CDT), among many others that directly serve the citizen. Siscomex, Siafi, Paperless Port, and hundreds of other solutions are examples developed by Serpro to support government operations with companies and public entities.

Thus, the public company has invested in solutions to expand the strategies of Brazil's Digital Government, which is now entering a new phase with the support of the Cardano Foundation.
